ESG Controller

SwipBox is in constant growth, and we aim to continuously reduce our carbon footprint. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated sustainability controller, who can help us achieve our climate responsibility goals and ensure that we are prepared to meet the requirements of the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) legislation.

Your primary focus

You will be based at our headquarters in Sønderborg and will be part of the Business Support department. Here, you will report directly to our CFO. You will work across the organisation to integrate responsible climate practices into all aspects of our business, from strategic planning to operational implementation.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing ESG strategies in collaboration with management
• Analysing and reporting the company's sustainability data, including environmental, social governance and financial impact
• Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
• Identifying and help implementing initiatives and measures to reduce our carbon footprint
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote responsible climate practices
• Conducting risk assessments related to environmental impact
• Assisting in preparing and ensuring SwipBox's readiness to comply with the upcoming CSRD.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant educational background in environmental science, sustainability, economics, or a related field
• Has at least 3 years of experience in ESG work, preferably in a controller role and experienced in using sustainability standards such as GRI, CDP, and ESG
• Has strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach, preferably with controller experience
• Is fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.

As ESG Controller, you will naturally cooperate with several stakeholders. It is therefore important that you are an outgoing person and comfortable collaborating closely with your colleagues across departments. You must also thrive with a workday where you switch between different tasks while still maintaining an overview and ensuring the overall direction of the ESG work.
